Bio

ABOUT

MarcelloBarenghi.jpg

Some says I'm one of the best artists in the world, I studied Art, I graduated in Architecture, and for 15 years I had been working at Blockbuster.

I’m serious! I tried working as a freelance illustrator but, really, they made me believe that my talent was useless, exploiting me and humbling my work. I was so disappointed and saddened that, at 23 of age and for 20 years, I stopped drawing, taking the best years of my life away from art.

If I hadn't lost my job in 2013, you would probably never have seen my artworks.
Unemployed and with nothing to lose, I opened my Youtube channel and I started drawing again, getting a lot of satisfaction.

Since 2013 I have been collaborating with big brands such as Samsung, McDonalds, Marvel and in 2016 Mercedes Petronas revealed its new f1 car with my speed drawing.

In 2021 I inaugurated my first personal exhibition in Seoul, "It's Life", with 100 works including drawings and paintings (insured for 6 million euros).

Today I am a full time artist and have millions of followers around the world and I am inspiring many young artists who post their artworks with the hashtag #marcellobarenghiinspired

It's Life

The exhibition consisted of more than 100 artworks and lasted 4 months. It was divided into 8 different rooms.
The exhibition had a great impact in Korea and I was invited to speak about art at the "Asian Leadership Conference"
